MotorDriveCam is an electronic device for vehicles to record and collect a variety of information on driving. It is also known as car black boxes, video data event recorder, and similar names. It is usually installed on the windshield and feature a camera as well as a GPS unit and collects the performance data such as accelerating, braking and turning. The data is stored automatically to a secure digital(SD) card similar to those that are used in digital cameras and can be reviewed on a computer. This type of MotorDriveCam is even more accurate than those that are currently being installed in vehicles because it also records the time, location and direction of the driving as well as the driver's view which makes it very helpful for a number of hard-to-prove situations, for example when trying to prove that you drive through yellow not red lights.If the vehicle is involved in an accident such as a collision, impact and sudden acceleration, related incident, this data is marked and stored onto the SD card (2GB up to 32GB). One may thereafter analyze the data to find its root cause by playing back the scenes of interest and where acceleration, vehicle speed, direction, and location are available for review. ADR3310 equips ONE front camera (1.3 mega pixel) and ONE Rear camera (1.3 mega pixel) with built-in infrared light for video recording. It has G force sensor to recognize the moment of car accident and microphone for audio recording. In addition, there is a LCD Display on the product to indicate the speed, time as well as product status. ADR3310 contains a T-box to integrate the various function of parking surveillance, video out for monitor, remote control receiver, USB port (SD card) and external alarm button (panic button).
